At the crack of dawn on any day during the week, the Port of Zeebrugge in Bruges, Belgium, comes to life. As Europe’s largest RoRo port, Zeebrugge handles more than 50 million tonnes of cargo a year. Its geographical location is ideal – it is situated on the North Sea, the busiest sea in the world – and it has good nautical accessibility, with a deep-water draught in the approaches and at the berths.
Zeebrugge is an exemplary port, able to connect to North and South America,South Africa, South East Asia and the Far East. WWL offers a range of services at its 55-hectare terminal in Zeebrugge, including processing services at both its 4600-square-metre equipment processing centre and its 7600-sqaure-metre vehicle processing centre. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
