As supply chains around the world race to adapt to the new parameters that will dominate tomorrow’s smarter automotive logistics sector, they need to become ever more digital, sustainable, automated and global.

And nowhere is the pace of transformation faster than in China, which is surging ahead of other countries in terms of uptake of new technology within its ever-expanding automotive manufacturing sector and leading the way in areas such as electric vehicles and use of e-commerce.

Fresh news emerges almost daily of huge investments in the country into joint ventures to create additional battery production capacity and service the fast-expanding electric vehicle sector.

Working out how China’s automotive supply chains can ensure they are on the right path to support all this change and make that future a reality will be the central focus of this year’s Automotive Logistics China conference, which will be held in Chengdu from 17-19 April 2018.
