Climb aboard Tonsberg for an up-close view of one of the largest and most impressive RoRo ships in the world. The new fascinating one-hour documentary-style cable TV episode follows WWL’s M/V Tønsberg and her crew to some of the busiest ports in Europe and through risky weather crossing the Atlantic Ocean towards Baltimore while carrying a large volume of cars, luxury vehicles, trucks, heavy machinery, yachts and specialised breakbulk cargo.

Viewers will get a first-hand look at how WWL tackles challenging loading operations with a focus on efficiency and quality, while navigating unexpected obstacles and tightening deadlines as two storms threaten to cross her path on the Atlantic Ocean.

Tune in to get an intimate tour of this enormous 9-deck modern giant of the seas and become immersed in the daunting RoRo operations that this ship was custom-built to handle. Viewers will also get a glimpse into life at sea for officers and crew, and follow ship crew and WWL port operations teams during every step and important decisions on the voyage.

The documentary-style show has been featured on the Discovery Channel and Smithsonian Channel in Canada since May, and has been airing throughout Europe since the fall. The episode will now air in the United States, beginning Sunday, March 26, at 8 PM EST on the Smithsonian Channel.
