The first vessel departed from Japan on September 12 and will arrive in the US at the beginning of October. The cars will be loaded at Toyota’s Tahara ocean terminal, which is located next to the carmaker’s plant in Japan’s Aichi prefecture, and transported to Jacksonville in Florida and Newark in New Jersey.

WWL already provides a number of ocean transport services to the Japanese carmaker to other parts of the world, including Europe, Australia and Africa. This latest contract is an extension of the partnership between the two companies.
