In early May, operations staff from the ten main ports in Latin America gathered in Santos, Brazil, with key customers like John Deere, CNH and Komatsu, for the continent’s first-ever RoRo Rodeo. The purpose? For WWL to learn more about the equipment they handle; and for customers to see how carefully WWL manages their valuable cargo.
WWL in Baltimore, the largest RoRo port in the US, hosted its 15th RoRo Rodeo in May. A key event in the local calendar, it attracted over 235 longshoremen and longshorewomen at the port – and an impressive list of local customers, including Case New Holland, John Deere, Mercedes Benz and Caterpillar, keen to share their tips on how to best operate their equipment.
