WWL's technical services team at East Liberty Honda plant receive award.
For the second year in a row, WWL's technical services team at the Honda plant in East Liberty, Ohio, has received the prestigious award which recognises the "hard work and dedication throughout the year" of WWL and its staff.
In recognising WWL as its top vehicle processor in North America, Honda declares WWL is becoming the "benchmark for all the other processing companies in the Honda logistics system".
"Our Honda team has worked incredibly hard over the past year, and this is a well-deserved recognition of their commitment to quality and hard work," says Christopher Connor, Head of Region Americas. "Especially in tough economic times, when customers are all demanding more and expecting more, it's incredibly inspiring to achieve this kind of recognition from Honda".
'The Processor of the Year Award' is awarded by Honda to recognise its top logistics suppliers for outstanding and innovative contributions to its business. The East Liberty team has succeeded in winning this award for the second consecutive year, despite facing stiff competition from service providers at four other Honda plants in North America.
"The WWL technical services team at East Liberty, and at all our Honda sites, have created a professional and supportive working environment that simulates creativity and dedication. They make it easy to please our customers at Honda", added Jerry Mahoney, WWL's Corporate Account Manager for Honda.
WWL has a well-established relationship with Honda in the United States. The Honda plant at East Liberty, Ohio, has the capacity for some 200,000 vehicles per year. In addition, WWL processes Honda’s North American exports bound for China, South America, Europe and the Middle East.
