Castor Green Terminal

The Castor Green terminal is a terminal and processing center that will not release any emissions into the air, land or ocean.

Low consumption – no emissions

As an environmental forerunner, WWL is developing the Castor Green Terminal to extend our Zero Emissions ambition and proactive environmental policies from our ocean operations to our port and land activities.

To achieve this vision, we will build upon proven solutions and technologies from our experiences operating terminals and VPCs across the globe, such as photovoltaic solar panels and wind turbine installations.

A highly advanced building design coupled with a lean production environment will ensure that cars, trucks, agricultural and construction equipment and other goods are handled and processed in the most environmentally sensitive manner.

What's in a name?

The castor, more commonly known as the beaver, lives throughout North America, Europe and Northern Asia .

Well known for its laborious and industrious lifestyle, the castor’s daily work overlaps the traditional divide between water and land.

Thus, the busy castor is an admirable and logical eponymous for our zero-emissions green terminal and processing site.
