This is to allow for cargo to be included into the plan and to expedite the treatment process.

If cargo does not have a BACC, it cannot be discharged into New Zealand ports.

Ideally Importers apply for their BACC at the earliest possible time – at least 48 hours in advance of landing to have the BACC arranged when discharge commences.

There is no special process and applications are as per normal through your Custom Agents. The BACC application should be lodged by licensed Customs Brokers.

If you do not have a Customs Broker please contact your WWL Representative who can provide you with a list of Brokers who should be able to assist you.

This process will allow for the treatment process to be efficient which will allow for a quicker clearance of cargo.

Please provide WWL with your receipt number so we are able to note in the queue too.
