The WWL team joined more than 3,000 customers and major Liebherr suppliers for the large equipment manufacturer’s Customer Days at its plant in Ehingen, Germany. Over two days, Liebherr machines performed amazing demonstrations meant to focus on the equipments’ power and versatility.

Entitled Moving Big Things Together, the event’s highlight featured two crawler cranes lifting an  even bigger crawler crane high up in the air.  The mega lift was perfectly synchronized and impressed the spectators who had come from all over the world to view the latest crane models.

“Most of our products are tall and weigh many tonnes, and we believe it’s important to have our key suppliers present at this event to better understand the equipment that they’re handling, whether transport distribution on land or at sea” says Bruno Seele, Head of Forwarding Department in Liebherr-Werk Ehingen.

The event also featured a rotating M-sculpture -  two 9-axle mobile cranes were fixed with their telescopic booms on a crawler crane chassis so that the large vehicles were hanging vertically in the air  – and a new 5-axle crane, which is well-known for its safety and efficiency and as the most powerful crane of its kind on the market. The days concluded with a spectacular musical firework and a laser show.
