Following last year’s severe flooding, automotive manufacturers have once again begun ramping up production in Thailand. In response to growing demand, Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics has purchased 24 new trucks and trailers, which are due for delivery in August.
The vehicles will be used to support WWL’s growing customer base, which includes General Motors, the Ford-Mazda joint venture AutoAlliance Thailand (AAT) and Honda, among others, for which it is already transporting more than 130,000 units per annum in Thailand.
