A Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) vessel load products via a stern ramp – a secure and efficient process that ensures safe handling regardless of weather conditions. Inside a roro ship it works like a parking house, with ramps connecting the decks. The products are rolled onboard to the appropriate deck, depending on the product’s weight, height and length, and safely secured with lashing to the vessel deck.  That is why a RoRo vessel is capable of carrying a mix of products: from cars, trucks and large construction and agricultural machinery to heavy mining equipment, generators and locomotives. The quality of the handling afforded to them is unrivalled by any other vessel type.
